Don't you share the feeling with Peter Sellers today, especially when you search the web? Don't you feel lost in translation?
Well, I do, and this is why I decided to start a website. I am doing this first for my own sake, to manage my life and to put order in my mind. But of course everyone is free to explore. If, anyway, you are a computer addict, as I definitely am, I suggest you read as much as you can on computer eye fatigue and similar issues
To put order in your mind requires time and a lot of thinking. Some of it you will find here. First of all thoughts (and practical application) on how new media interacts with academic work (both teaching and research) and how I can use the web (especially the semantic web) to improve my teaching and research work. Also, I am interested in citizen journalism, cultural and political, and how we can improve and use it. I recently started to translate for Global Voices Italia (you should see some translations on the website sometimes soon)
Obviously, the web is chaotic by definition and the site will be chaotic too, but you can always take a look at my blog Amnesia creativa to keep track of things (you can see the most recent posts on the left column)
Oh, I forgot to say that my name is Giorgio Guzzetta and this is my website
